About Bobbi Holmes
Bobbi first moved to Lake Havasu in 1968, when her family owned and
operated Havasu Palms, one of the oldest resorts on the lake. She
attended Lake Havasu High School the first year it opened, as a
sophomore, and graduated from the school in 1972. Since her family's
resort was located on the California side of the lake, she boated to and
from school, traveling alone in her small craft, 12 miles each day
across Lake Havasu.
She met her husband, Don, during her senior
year, when he, like hundreds of other college students since, was
spending his spring break on Lake Havasu. Four years later they
graduated from college in California, yet eventually returned to Havasu.
(Bobbi earned a Bachelors of Art in Communications from Cal State
Fullerton.)
In 1991 Don and Bobbi assumed management of
her parent’s resort, Havasu Palms, Inc., which consisted of a mobile
home park, marina and the popular Road’s End Restaurant. After the
Havasu Palms' lease expired, Don and Bobbi altered their careers, which
led them to McCulloch Realty (which merged into Coldwell Banker
McCulloch Judd Realty, October 2004).
Bobbi is a Graduate of the REALTOR® Institute (GRI), and
earned her Certified
Commercial Sales Specialist (CCSS) designation and E-Pro designation.
She currently serves on the Lake Havasu Historical Society’s Board of
Trustees, and was the 2007 and 2008 Public Relation
Chairman for the Lake Havasu Association of REALTORS®.
Today,
instead of being a sales agent, Bobbi is the Marketing Manager at
Heirloom Realty, where her husband, Don, is the Designated Broker. Her
interests include spending time with her family and friends, digital
scrapbooking, genealogy, and occasionally teaching courses at the local
community college.
Together, with her
husband, Don, she has two grown children, Scott and Elizabeth, who are
each planning weddings for 2008.
No, Don and Bobbi aren't taking off on a trip - they
don't even have a motor home! But they do enjoy nearby festivals and
activities, such as the motor home sale in Quartsite, Arizona.
